NATIONAL UNIVERSITIES COMMISSION ACCREDITATION TEAM VISIT WESTERN DELTA UNIVERSITY.

Accreditation Team from the National Universities Commission, Abuja were at the Western Delta University, Oghara from 13th – 18th June, 2010. The purpose of the visit was to carryout accreditation of the Degree Programmes run by the University.

Thirteen (13) Programmes were presented for accreditation as follows:

Of the thirteen (13) Programmes presented, only that of Hotel and Tourism Management was deferred due to the non-availability of NUC Bench Mark to access the Programme. Assessment of the Programme was therefore deferred to November, 2010. Preliminary observations by the Accreditation Team were generally favourable for all the departments.
